SUMMARY:2020 SCRUM Guide
DESCRIPTION:**PLEASE REGISTER HERE** https://trifork.zoom.us/webinar/regist
er/WN_5Qv01vKLTlKlnACPf4NCEw\n\nJoin Jens Østergaard and Stig Efsen in a
GOTO Night to learn more about the new 2020 Scrum Guide.\n\nSPEAKERS:\n\nJ
ens Østergaard — Denmark's first Scrum Master and one of the world's mo
st experienced Scrum trainers.\n\nStig Efsen — Vice president of Trifork
Aarhus and translates English versions of the Scrum guide to Danish and w
orks as an agile coach\, with a wealth of experience implementing Scrum.\n
\nABSTRACT:\n\nIn this GOTO Night Jens and Stig will review the key change
s and how these changes will affect your Scrum. They will discuss the foll
 owing 2020 Scrum guide changes:\n\n• Less Prescriptive.\nThe 2020 versio
n aims to bring Scrum back to being a minimally sufficient framework by re
moving or softening prescriptive language.\n\n• One Team Focused on One
Product.\nThe new guide eliminates the concept of a separate team within a
team that has led to “proxy” or "us and them” behavior between the
PO and Dev Team.\n\n• Introduction of Product Goal.\nThe 2020 Scrum Guid
e introduces the concept of a Product Goal to provide focus for the Scrum
Team toward a larger valuable objective.\n\n• More Clarity for Sprint Go
al\, Definition of Done\, and Product Goal.\nPrevious Scrum guides describ
ed sprint goal and definition of done without really giving them an identi
ty. They were not quite artifacts but were somewhat attached to artifacts.
With the addition of product goal\, the 2020 version provides more clarit
 y around this.\n\n• Self-Managing over Self-Organizing.\nPrevious Scrum
guides referred to development teams as self-organizing\, choosing who and
how to do work. With more of a focus on the Scrum team\, the 2020 version
  emphasizes a self-managing Scrum Team\, choosing who\, how\, and what to
work on.\n\n• Three Sprint Planning Topics.\nIn addition to the Sprint P
lanning topics of “What” and “How”\, the 2020 Scrum guide places e
mphasis on a third topic\, “Why”\, referring to the sprint Goal.\n\n
 • Simpler and Shorter Guide — Now only 13 pages!\n\nThe 2020 Scrum gui
de has placed an emphasis on eliminating redundant and complex statements
as well as removing any remaining inference to IT work (e.g. testing\, sys
 tem\, design\, requirement\, etc).\n\nAGENDA\n- 14.00 Welcome by GOTO\n- 1
