SUMMARY:2022 Compensation Survey Working Group Kickoff
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the kickoff of our third (bi-annual-ish) survey foc
 using on software professional compensation\, tenure\, job satisfaction\, 
 commutes\, advancement\, and more. We're working on the 2022 survey and wa
 nt your input and participation in making it useful and relevant to your c
 areer and life.\n\nYvette Menase\, Director of Surveys\, and Colin Dean\, 
 Managing Director of C&S\, will guide the discussion covering what questio
 ns we're continuing from the 2017 and 2020 surveys\, the outcomes we're de
 siring\, the tech platform(s) we're intending to use\, and more. We'll sol
 icit your feedback on these and ensure that our goals are aligned with tho
 se of the community that we serve.\n\nWe're also looking for short-term _a
 nd_ long-term volunteers who can help with the following:\n\n* promoting t
 he survey and marketing it around the C&S\, Pittsburgh\, Rust Belt\, and U
 nited States tech communities\n\n* reviewing data and writing thoughtful a
 nalyses\n\n* responding to public questions about the survey and writing e
 rrata when we've made a mistake\n\n* improving our authorship and graphic 
 generation workflow to accelerate production of the final report\n\nCompen
 sation Survey volunteers have used their participation in the survey to le
 arn new skills\, to build empathy with their fellow software professionals
 \, and to secure interesting work in product management\, data science\, a
 nd engineering management. This can be a meaningful résumé-building acti
 vity for anyone at any stage of their career!\n\nThe C&S Compensation Surv
 ey is an all-volunteer effort\, but we do believe in paying our volunteers
  when we have funding to do so. To fund this\, we accept individual and co
 rporate sponsors. In order to increase respondent privacy\, sponsors do no
 t gain access to raw data but may have some influence on the questions we
