SUMMARY:Artificial Intelligence\, Machine Learning and Deep Learning
DESCRIPTION:Open discussion about Artificial Intelligence\, Machine Learnin
g and Deep Learning.\n• Artificial intelligence is the future.\n• Arti
ficial intelligence is science fiction.\n• Artificial intelligence is al
ready part of our everyday lives.\nAll these statements are true\, it just
depends on what flavor of AI you are referring to. This meeting is will h
elp us all get a better understanding of what AI is and is not.\n\nWith hu
ge strides in AI--from advances in the driverless vehicle realm\, to maste
ring games such as poker and Go\, to automating customer service interacti
ons--this advanced technology is poised to revolutionize businesses. But t
he terms AI\, machine learning\, and deep learning are often used haphazar
dly and interchangeably\, when there are key differences between each type
of technology.\n\nOur facilitator for the discussion is Blair Leduc. A Pr
incipal Consultant with ObjectSharp\, Blair has 25 years of experience in
hands-on\, management and consultative roles. He has a strong interest in
technology topics and software engineering practices\, such as web and mob
ile development\, serverless computing and machine learning.\nBlair obtain
ed a M.Eng. in Electrical Engineering and a B.Eng. Computer Engineering fr
om McMaster University. He has a Professional Graduate Certificate in Data
Science from Harvard University\, Harvard Extension School. He has been a
regular public speaker on technology topics and software engineering prac
tices\, such as web and mobile development\, serverless computing and mach
ine learning.\n\nDue to Covid-19 regulations we are going to run this as a
n online event. Our last meetup was an online event and went well while pr
otecting everyone and keeping then safe. Click the link in the meeting to
 join just before 6:00 pm.\n\nhttps://www.devopschat.co/meetings/artificial
