SUMMARY:Building a Reactive Web App Using Your Preferred Tech Stack
DESCRIPTION:**REGISTER HERE**\nhttps://trifork.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_
UjkB2nF4T7G3bTmDYkXyAg\n\nThis session will walk you through a Reactive We
b Application\, designed and built using the platforms you voted for in ou
r online poll.\n\nOn the client side we will be creating React components\
, implemented via Functional components and Hooks\, with the Redux Toolkit
(a simplified Redux experience) used for state management. We will be cod
ing in Typescript\, taking full advantage of the advanced type system.\n\n
On the server side we will be using Java 14 and Spring Boot to build our s
ervices. We will showcase both the new language features in Java 14 and th
e support for Reactive Streams provided by Project Reactor\, WebFlux\, RSo
cket and Spring Data R2DBC. Once we're taken you through the application w
e will critically evaluate whether these new innovations are worthwhile fo
r the majority of projects\, and in particular whether the reactive model
is salvation or snake oil.\n\nEamonn Boyle\n\nEamonn Boyle has over 15 yea
rs working as a developer\, architect and team lead. For the last 2.5 year
s he’s been working as a full-time trainer and coach\, authoring and del
ivering courses on a range of topics to a broad range of delegates. These
include paradigms and technologies from core language skills\, frameworks
to tools and processes.\n\nHe has also spoken at a number of events and me
etups including .NET Developer Guild\, BASH and GDG Dublin and aided in th
e delivery of workshops at KotlinConf\, GOTO Amsterdam and RebelCon.\n\nEa
monn enjoys a good film\, loves a good debate on current affairs and pract
icing his photography skills\n\nGarth Gilmour\n\nGarth Gilmour gave up ful
l time development back in 1999 to teach and mentor full time. Since then
he's delivered well over a thousand courses and workshops to all kinds of
programmers from all kinds of backgrounds. He started teaching C++ to C co
ders\, then Java to C++ coders\, then C# to Java coders and now teaches ev
erything to everybody\, but specialises in Kotlin.\n\nAlthough self-employ
ed for most of this career\, he came to roost six years ago as head of lea
rning at Instil. As part of that role he speaks frequently at meetups\, pr
esents at conferences and co-organizes the Belfast BASH series of develope
r events.\n\nWhen not at the whiteboard he coaches Krav Maga\, lifts heavy
weights and fights nerf wars with his kids.\n\n**REGISTER HERE**\nhttps:/
