SUMMARY:Building a remote digital studio: an experience with the Estonian e
 -Residency
DESCRIPTION:Damien Senger of Raccoon Studios to present via teleconference.
\n\nAs designers and engineers\, we are building experiences and products
for an almost borderless Web. And we are doing this at a moment where prom
oting remote work is an absolute necessity for the planet and our future.\
n\nThese days\, companies are more eager to work with remote workers than
ever\, offering a series of great opportunities for freelancers but also a
couple of potential administrative issues.\n\nAs a French designer living
in the Netherlands and having clients on both sides of The Pond\, I tried
to find a solution to ease the currency and tax headache.\n\nMy goal: cre
ating a company not relying on my current country of residence\, to be fre
e and allowing me to work easily in Europe and North America.\n\nLet's see
together what are the different opportunities\, challenges\, and tradeoff
s existing when creating an Estonian-based company as an e-resident.\n\nht
