 tion\, at RoadMetrics we classify different types of road defects from ear
 ly-stage cracks to final stage potholes as well as speed breakers and manh
 oles. Smartphone sensor vibrations are used as an additional means of data
  for validation. Using SVM\, we classify vibrations by finding patterns in
