SUMMARY:Containers beyond Microservices
DESCRIPTION:Containers are now being used as a fast and efficient way to de
ploy isolated systemd\, Docker or Kubernetes environments. This is very us
eful for development\, testing\, and CI/CD. However\, using containers thi
s way requires complex container configs and unsecure privileged container
s\, making it difficult for enterprise devOps. Nestybox's Cesar Talledo wi
ll discuss these challenges and a solution that addresses them\n\n---\n\nB
io:\nCesar Talledo is co-founder of Nestybox\, a startup working to enhanc
e the capabilities and use-cases of containers. Cesar has two decades of e
xperience in hardware and software engineering\, with deep expertise in Li
nux\, containers\, and virtualization. He most recently worked in VMware's
ESX hypervisor team prior to founding Nestybox last year.\n\n---\n\nBayLI
SA meetings are scheduled for 7:30pm on the third Thursday of each month.\
n\nBayLISA includes system and network administrators across a range of sk
ill levels. BayLISA meets to discuss topics of interest to system administ
rators and managers. The meetings are free and open to the public.\n\nWe a
lways welcome presentation topics and volunteer speakers. Use the "Contact
us" link on this page to get in touch with BayLISA's directors.\n\nhttps:
