  Debugging Your Brain (DYB)\, a clear applied psychology book and a concis
 e self-help book. His book brings together two of his backgrounds: psychol
 ogy and software development. Casey studied neurobiology at Yale Universit
 y\, and he is a co-author on several neurobiology papers. He has also work
 ed in software development for 10 years\, including at Heroku. Casey can p
 lay ten musical instruments\, and he owns one in every color of the rainbo
 w (most recently a white accordion). Casey has been an active member of th
