 pm - Q&A\n* 8:10pm - Foods & Drinks\n\n========\n**Talk 1 - Why Kubernetes
  Applications Require a New Approach to Testing**\nMicroservices\, CI/CD\,
  DevOps\, GitOps\, cluster networking\, etc… — more and more teams are
  building software fundamentally differently than they did even a few year
 s ago. However\, testing approaches and tooling have not caught up yet. At
  least not until now. What if you could apply the same type of GitOps and
 DevOps methodologies to your testing activities ? Tests could be deployed
 and stored in a Kubernetes cluster\, they could decoupled from your CI/CD\
 , orchestrated in the cluster in the same way you do with your application
 s and not in your CI/CD\, publish results aggregated in a common format an
 d triggered with a simple API request. Looks promising right ?\nLet’s ha
 ve a look at Testkube\, an open-source framework that is moving to be the
 cloud-native testing framework for all your Tests in Kubernetes. Whether y
 ou are using Postman\, Cypress\, K6\, SoapUI\, or any other testing tool\,
  Testkube can unlock all the capabilities of those tools that allow you to
  deliver code with confidence.\n\nBruno Lopes - Product Leader @ Testkube.
 io\n\n=========\n**Talk 2 - Build a Secure-Proof Platform in the Cloud Age
 **\nNowadays\, there's a noticeable explosion in the number of platforms b
 uilt by companies. From startups to large global-scale companies\, all can
  leverage from having a set of platforms being built\, to ensure their IT
 assets are centrally\, and uniformly managed\, complying with hard securit
 y requirements\, while allowing freedom to the engineers to build their ap
 plications.\nThis talk presents common strategies to include in any platfo
 rm standards to ensure that the security best practices are enforced: from
  the assets hosted in the cloud to the tools used to enforce security best
  coding practices.\n\nPedro is a Cloud Engineer@PMI working on the platfor
 m used to host all PMI apps. He's passionate about infrastructure in the c
 loud\, and how to bring engineering to build maintainable\, debt-free syst
 ems that have real-life applications.\n\n=========\n**Importante Notice**\
 nThe talks will be recorded and published in the DevOps Lisbon YouTube cha
 nnel. By signing up for this event you explicitly agree that your image mi
 ght appear in the video recordings. Nevertheless\, you can always get in t
