SUMMARY:Don't hack the platform? ☠️💣💥
DESCRIPTION:**REGISTER HERE**\n\nhttps://trifork.zoom.us/webinar/register/W
N_R1B15xFfQ4-6pjyg-KOXxA\n\nABOUT THE TALK\n\nDon’t watch this talk! You
r co-workers will not be happy when you go back to work tomorrow and start
applying the things you’ll learn here. You’ll do a lot of damage.\n\n
Mutating immutable objects is never a good idea. You shouldn’t be bypass
ing the constructor when you instantiate an object. You certainly don’t
need to add constants to your enums at runtime. And don’t even think abo
ut including Java 11 code in your Java 7 codebase. Truly\, nothing good wi
ll come from attending this talk.\n\nIn all seriousness\, this talk will p
rovide awareness about some of the lesser-known vulnerabilities of Java an
d the JVM. Maybe I’ll even tell you how to guard against them.\n\nABOUT
THE SPEAKER\n\nJan Ouwens is a developer and architect at Codestar in the
Netherlands\, focusing on back-end systems and specializing in Scala and J
ava.\n\nHe is interested in functional programming and has worked with Del
phi\, Ruby\, Elm\, and yes\, even VBScript. He is also the author of Equal
sVerifier\, a tool to make rigourously testing Java’s equals and hashCod
 e methods a one-liner.\n\n**REGISTER HERE**\n\nhttps://trifork.zoom.us/web
