n\n--------\n📍 6:35pm: Easy HTTPS for Your Microservice Architectures\n
 \nSpeaker: Julien Levesy (Software Engineer - Containous)\n\nJulien is a s
oftware engineer working at Containous in the TraefikEE and Maesh team. Hi
s special interest is in deploying applications scalable by using cloud an
d container technologies.\n\nIn the era of dynamic platforms\, management
of entry points is becoming a great challenge\, with the large amounts of
application deployments requiring entry points to update often. And the pa
tterns for routing\, blue / green or canary\, are challenging to scale. Yo
u want secured HTTPS requests on your applications\, while ensuring certif
icates are up to date on these ephemeral URLs\, thus requiring a lot of pl
umbing. Learn how to overcome this complexity\, and successfully build rel
iable entry points\, focusing your energy on what matters to you. Our sess
ion will define what a modern edge router\, reverse proxy and load-balance
r are. We will then present concepts and advanced features which overcome
the platform entry point challenges. And finally\, we'll dig deeper and sh
ow how these solutions can scale and be fault tolerant.\n\n--------\n📍
7:15pm: Implementing Serverless\, Scalable Kubernetes in the Cloud\n\nSpea
ker: Steven Feltner\, Solutions Architect\nCompany: SpotInst\n\nWhen it co
mes to productivity\, Containerization has played a major role in freeing
up DevOps from dealing with variables such as software versions\, configur
ations\, libraries\, runtime and other dependencies that needed to be addr
essed just to run a specific application in a new environment. DevOps can
now focus on higher level tasks such CI/CD\, monitoring\, process automati
on\, software design review\, and other innovative activities.\n\nHowever\
, one area that still consumes an inordinate amount of time\, is infrastru
cture management. While Kubernetes\, ECS and other container orchestrators
do manage the placement of Pods/Tasks on the underlying nodes\, infrastru
cture capacity planning and ongoing maintenance is something that DevOps s
till must handle on their own.\n\nIn this presentation Steven will discuss
how Spotins is helping some of the leading companies in the world with th
e biggest challenges and solutions in the container infrastructure managem
ent space\, including container-driven autoscaling\, creating capacity buf
fers for high priority workloads\, rightsizing nodes to match Pod and Task
requirements\, container-level showback as well as continuous cloud cost
optimization.\n\n--------\n📍 7:40pm: Testing Autonomous Monitoring with
Litmus Chaos Engine - David Gildeh\n\nZebrium is developing an Autonomous
Monitoring solution that can automatically detect incidents unsupervised
using machine learning removing the need to configure and maintain complex
alert rules in noisy microservice environments. Maya Data\, tested it usi
ng their own Chaos Engineering tool\, Litmus Chaos Engine\, and we worked
together to turn this into a working demo you can run yourself. This talk
will give an overview of what Zebrium and Litmus are\, and how together yo
u can use them to build more resilient services for your users on Kubernet
es.\n\n📍 8pm: Zebrium is sponsoring the first few rounds of drinks at L
ouies's Bar! Come and join us!\n\nLouie's Bar is 3 blocks from the where w
 e will be.\n\nAddress\n55 Stevenson st\,\nSan Francisco\, CA 94105\n\nIMPO
