roduction to Go - Bill Kennedy\n8:10-8:30: Q&A\n\nWe are fortunate to have
one of the best and most experienced Go trainers in the world joining us
to present an introduction to Go programming.\n\nBill believes every devel
oper and development team must develop a set of design philosophies that h
elp to establish a set of guidelines. This is more important than developi
ng a set of rules or patterns you apply blindly. Guidelines help to formul
ate\, drive and validate decisions. You can't begin to make the best decis
ions without understanding the impact of your decisions. Every decision yo
u make\, every line of code you write comes with trade-offs.\n\nWhen it co
mes to the Go programming language\, Bill believes the language authors fo
llowed a set of design philosophies and guidelines that helped shape the l
anguage and its features. In this talk\, Bill will discuss some of the des
ign philosophies he believes are in sync with the Go programming language
and how they can help you better understand the language and what it's att
empting to accomplish.\n\nSpeaker:\n\nBill Kennedy is a managing partner a
 t Ardan Labs in Miami\, Florida\, a mobile\, web\, and systems development
company. He is also a co-author of the book Go in Action and a founding m
ember of GoBridge which is working to increase Go adoption through diversi
 ty.\n\nArdan Labs: https://www.ardanlabs.com/\nGoBridge: https://gobridge.
