SUMMARY:November ONLINE DevOps Meetup
DESCRIPTION:📣 ATTENTION: We'll be starting at 18:00 sharp.\n\nThe Zoom (
as linked on this page) will be available to join from 17:50 onwards.\n\nY
ou must RSVP to see the link to the Zoom.\n\n——\n\n💃 Domain Driven
 Design – Alistair Rigney\n\n💃🏻 A Guide to Event-driven SRE-inspire
d DevOps: The end of your monolithic release process – Andreas Grabner\n
\nWhile software architects have broken their monoliths into event-driven
service architectures\, many DevOps architects are still building monolith
ic inspired release pipelines. This results in complex pipeline code\, tig
ht integration of process and tools\, lengthy diagnostics sessions to fix
broken pipelines and puts strains on the underlying resources that build\,
deploy\, test and validate.\n\nIn this session we introduce a new approac
h: Event-driven Continuous Delivery and Operation Automation for modern De
vOps! This approach decouples the declaration of processes for delivery an
d remediation from tooling. It uses an “everything as code” approach w
 hich includes deployment\, testing\, quality gate\, observability\, promot
ion and remediation definitions.\n\nOne open source tool which implements
this new approach is Keptn which was heavily inspired by Google’s SRE pr
actice around SLIs & SLOs. Join us\, see Keptn in action and get inspired
on what the future of DevOps tooling can look like\n\nPlease let Michael a
nd Lindsay know via Meetup if you would like to give a talk!\n\nhttps://ww
