SUMMARY:Panic! at the DISCO
DESCRIPTION:We will have two talks this evening - Bruce Szalwinski & Nichol
as Barretta.\n\nSpecial thanks to Rackspace Inc for sponsoring the speaker
s via remote Zoom!\n\nTitle\n=====\nSo you want to deploy to production mo
re than once a week\n\nAbstract\n========\nOverview of CI / CD process at
CS Disco. How we moved from one person deploying all things once a week to
each team having the ability to deploy their own things when they are rea
dy. Includes: a) moving from Terraform mono repo (all infrastructure for a
ll services in one repo) to infrastructure by lifecycle and ownership\, b)
  multi-region / multi-account CodePipeline deploying app config\, infrastr
 ucture and services\; c) resulting in 9 teams\, 75 developers\, 230 pipeli
nes and 15K+ deployments in the last 12 months.\n\nBio\n===\nBruce Szalwin
ski is an electrical engineer turned database architect turned software en
gineer. He currently spends his days at CS Disco as a Dev Ops engineer aut
omating all things. When he is not crafting code or creating cookies\, Bru
ce can be found in far south Austin\, avoiding snakes and spending time in
his almost empty nest with his wife and four dogs.\n\n___________________

 n=====\nCloud Breach Incident Response & Forensics\n\nAbstract\n========\n
Cloud breaches are on the rise\, and none of these breaches are small. Und
erstanding the TTPs is key to determining where to look among the plethora
of services available through Cloud Service Providers such as AWS and Azu
re. In this session we'll enumerate sources of forensic evidentiary data a
mong the vastness of AWS Cloudtrail\, GuardDuty\, Microsoft Graph\, and mo
re. A very clearly defined methodology will be provided as a baseline for
combing through this data in a precise and expedited way. Examples from re
al world breaches will be highlighted providing practical approaches to ex
posing the attacker's methods and compromise.\n\nBio\n===\nNicholas Barret
ta is a solutions architect who has spent the majority of his career worki
ng within the cloud computing space. He spent two years at AWS as a Senior
Solutions Architect\, and prior to that spent five years at Google\, the
latter two as a Customer Engineer for Google Cloud. In both roles\, he has
helped large enterprise customers build and execute their cloud migration
plans while also helping them identify and adopt security best practices
that mitigate both legacy and cloud-specific threats without slowing down
the increased pace of innovation that cloud promises developers. He holds
the AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional\, AWS Certified DevOps
Engineer Professional\, and AWS Security Specialty certifications. He is b
ased in Toronto\, Canada.\n\nInterested in speaking on something about Clo
