SUMMARY:[SAVE THE DATE] TLV Community Q1 Blitz - DevOps\, Cloud Native & OS
 S\, Statscraft
DESCRIPTION:We're coming back with events from the TLV Community to bring t
 ogether DevOps TLV\, Cloud Native & OSS\, & Statscraft. We will have a 15-
 minute talk for each topic\, followed by Q&A & some chit chat.\n\nAgenda:\
 n\n12:00 - 12:05 - Intro + Updates\n\n12:05 - 12:20\n- DevOps IL: DevOps i
 n Search of a Better Definition | Yair Etziony\, Head of Operations\, Pola
 r Squad Germany\n\nIt seems that In today's world of software development\
 , almost everyone wants to have DevOps transformation in their organizatio
 n. However\, many of those are failing.\n\nI want to argue that most compa
 nies are confusing methodologies and practices\, pushing the transformatio
 n in the wrong direction. I want to use my experience as a DevOps consulta
 nt and as someone who studied history of ideas to define DevOps better.\n\
 n12:20-12:35\n- Cloud Native & OSS: Building a Cloud Native Product in 202
 0 | Itiel Shwartz\, Komodor\n\nMy story about kickstarting a cloud native
 company in 2020\, built from scratch using the latest (and greatest) tools
  and processes. Some of these include k8s (what else?!)\, ci/cd\, motoring
  tools\, centralized logging\, error tracking\, etc. While building Komodo
 r\, we learned and changed quite a lot. In this talk\, I will share some o
 f the good decisions we have taken (go Hasura!)\, but also about the chall
 enges we faced\, what technologies and the processes we decided to ditch\,
  and what lessons we learned during the past year.\n\n12:35-12:50\n- Stats
 craft: One Metric to Rule them All: Cycle Time | Yishai Beeri CTO\, Linear
 B\n\nIf you only measure one metric this is it: Cycle Time. It is probably
  the most underrated and least understood metric in engineering. Yet this
 is the metric that comprises the most important aspects to measure in your
  engineering process. Here’s why.\n\nThis talk will focus on how to fine
 -tune and get Cycle Time right. It’s a mix of improving your planning\,
 interfaces between product and engineering\, communication\, review and qu
 ality gates and release mechanisms\, essentially everything your engineeri
 ng process encompasses. If you can game this metric\, then you will realiz
 e huge gains for your entire dev process and engineering organization.\n\n
 12:50 - Q&A and Chit Chat with Community Friends\n\n~~~~~~~~~~\n\nEVENT IN
 FO:\nDon't forget to join our Discord server [https://discord.gg/fV4cMKQ]
 to ask our speakers your many questions.\n\nFollow on Twitter: @tlvcommuni
 ty (https://twitter.com/TLVCommunity)\n\nThe event will be streamed live t
 o our YouTube\, through our website:\nhttps://tlvcommunity.dev/live\n\n~~~
 ~~~~~~~~\n\nBios:\n\nYair Etziony is the head of operations for Polar Squa
 d Germany\, with over twenty years of experience in the field (in various
 roles\, such as a QA engineer\, System engineer\, System administrator). Y
 air is also a musician and worked in the past as an art curator and a jour
 nalist for known magazines. He is one of the Berlin DevOps meetup group or
 ganizers\, and he was on the comity for the Helm Summit EU 2019. He holds
 a BA in modern history and philosophy.\n\n---\n\nItiel is the CTO and co-f
 ounder of Komodor\, a startup building the first k8s-native troubleshootin
 g platform. A big believer in dev empowerment and moving fast. Worked at e
 Bay|Forter| Rookout (first developer)\, A backend and infra developer turn
 ed “DevOps”\, an avid public speaker that loves talking about things s
 uch as cloud infrastructure\, kubernetes\, python\, observability\, and R&
 D culture.\n\n---\n\nYishai Beeri likes to solve problems\, and has made i
 t a focus of his career to solve complex programming problems\, both as a
 consultant and entrepreneur. In 2014 he joined the CTO office of a fast-mo
 ving cloud security startup\, which later was acquired by a networking gia
 nt. At this startup he also met Ori Keren and Dan Lines\, now co-founders
 of LinearB. He joined them shortly after the company was established\, in
 order to get back to what he loves most about engineering\, solving big ch
 allenges\, and this time he is focusing on the world of dev team metrics a
 nd software delivery management.\n\nhttps://www.devopschat.co/meetings/sav
